We welcome Finansinspektionen as a new member

Published Oct 22, 2026

We are pleased to welcome Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) as a new member of Cybercampus Sweden!

Finansinspektionen (FI) is the supervisory authority for companies on the Swedish financial market, including banks, insurance companies and financial infrastructure companies. Among other things, the authority is responsible for supervising companies’ compliance with requirements on IT risk management and testing of resilience against cyberattacks. Finansinspektionen is also the sector-responsible authority for the emergency preparedness sector of financial services.

With Finansinspektionen’s membership, Cybercampus Sweden begins collaborating with a new part of society: the financial sector. Here, cybersecurity becomes more important every day, both for the infrastructure that keeps payments, credit and markets running, and for everyday life: the salary that reaches your account, the card payment at the checkout and the login to your mobile banking app. Banks, insurance companies and other actors are actively working to protect themselves against cyberattacks.

We look forward to strengthening cybersecurity across society together with Finansinspektionen and our other members and partners, from critical systems to everyday life. A warm welcome!
