Last Friday, for the second year in a row, Cybercampus, FRO (Frivilliga Radioorganisationen/the Voluntary Radio Organisation), Kodsport Sverige and Women4Cyber Sweden hosted 22 future cybersecurity experts at Introduce a Girl to Engineering day (IGEday).

IGEday is a day when girls and non-binaries get to try out life as an engineer at a workplace in Sweden.

On March 20, 22 young, dedicated girls came to the Cybercampus office, and were shown around the premises and the Hacking Lab with all it's tools and stories. The participants listened to a lecture about what it's like to be a cybersoldier and to study engineering. They also took part in interactive discussions and ethical hacking scenarios, as well as hands-on gameified cybersecurity exercises.
